Getting in the Halloween Spirit

Last night we went to Hallowe'en at Greenfield Village in Dearborn. We had such a great time! The kids got to wear their costumes and do a little trick-or-treating. The village definitely had an old-timey feel to Halloween. It definitely helped get us into the Halloween spirit!

Jeremiah and his little chick-Megan loves chickens! She gets so excited whenever she sees one, whether it's real or stuffed! It was only fitting that she would be a chicken this year.

We saw the Schwartz family when we got there. Ally and Drew were excited to be able to walk around with their friends Christian, Alison, and Maria! They were ready to head out!

The village had people in elaborate costumes all over the place. They had many treat stations, with different kinds of treats. The kids love it!

Drew was Anakin Skywalker again...mainly because his t-rex costume hasn't arrived yet.

There was a "real" headless horseman on a real horse. The kids thought it was so neat!

Ally is a snow woman this year. It was very fitting since the weather was quite cold!

The kids had fun seeing all of the decorations. One of the scarecrows was a real person and would scare the kids. They thought it was great!

We had a great night all together! We're ready for Halloween!
